Get in fast
A reliable source says this show could be removed from the archive soon, at the request of Mr Langford. Just over a month ago this was the word: "they used earplugs that day and didn't hear a damn thing... So if you want that show: it's time to hurry".
If this is how they play when they can't hear, who knows what's possible when they can! A truly incredible show with impeccable sound. Let's hope there's a reconsideration and it's not pulled.

Jon Langford does Bob Wills
This is the live version of the album The Pine Valley Cosmonauts Salute The Majesty of Bob Wills. Aside from being another fabulous tribute to one of Americas greatest songwriters, both the album and this live show are done in a way that bears Jon Langfords uniqueness. While being a slice of ol Americana, the music is performed with an electric bass and Langfords English vocals. In other words, its the Mecons meet Western Swing. One of the remarkable elements of the show is that the the Pine Valley Cosmonauts reunited just about all of the album's guest singers into an Austin club. The list of guest singers is impressive with Alejandro Escovedo and Sally Timms to name two. The sound quality is really good being a soundboard. While seeming too good to be true, enjoy this 'do not miss' download!
